Snap! But more often than not, we hold ourselves to account for not doing something about it there and then - making ourselves feel even worse.

What I want you to do instead is sit with it. Allow that feeling to just be with you for the day. Admit to yourself and those around you that it's a big pants day.
Then, I want you to focus on how you are going to use this feeling to generate you tomorrow.
Example: Ok, so I feel pants today because he didn't reply to me asking for a second date. Fine. His loss! Ergh! I'm going to set up a string of dates with someone who I know is wrong for me.
OK, I'm upset. I'm going to sit with this, but how can I channel this negative energy to help me tomorrow? I'm going to go and do that thing I've been planning to do by myself, or with a friend. Or I'm going to detox myself from technology.
